Hence, shade-selecting and material matching are important to process to satisfy patient expectations. However, shade selection may be subjective, producing unpredictable results, and leading to wrong matching. So, understanding why and how to shade selection is important in clinical application and identifying some criteria for selecting proper shades is needed for all clinicians.
